Information you give us
When you book a visit on this website: your name, phone number, city and ZIP code, the appliance and the problem, and, if you choose to give them, your email, your preferred time and your service address.
When you call us, or when our technician visits: the details you share about you, your home and your appliance, and payment information when you pay for a service.
Information collected automatically when you visit
Your approximate location (city and ZIP code), so the page can show your city. It comes from the ad you clicked or from your internet connection. We do not use your device’s GPS on this website.
Technical details: your browser and device type, the page you came from, the first page you visited, and, if you came from an ad, the ad click ID and campaign tags (for example gclid and utm_campaign).
To stop spam, we keep a scrambled code made from your IP address (a one-way hash), not the IP address itself.
City and ZIP data: GeoNames (geonames.org), CC BY 4.0.
How we use your information
To schedule and carry out your repair: to call you about your request, send a technician, diagnose and repair your appliance, and take payment.
To measure which of our ads bring in customers (see “Advertising and cookies” below).
We do not send marketing emails.
To protect the website from spam and misuse, and to meet legal obligations.
Who we share your information with
Our technicians, to carry out your repair.
Service providers who run this website and our communications for us: website hosting, database and email providers. They may use the information only to provide their service to us.
Google, for advertising measurement, as described below. We do not give Google your name, phone number, email or address.
When the law requires it, or to protect our rights, property or safety.
We do not sell your personal information.
Advertising and cookies
We advertise on Google. To learn which ads work, our website tells Google Ads when someone taps our phone number, sends a booking request or confirms a visit. We send Google that the action happened and a random request number; Google’s tag also collects the standard technical details it collects on any website (such as the page address, your browser and your IP address). We never send Google your name, phone number, email or address.
For this, Google’s tag may set a cookie in your browser. During your visit, our site also keeps the ad click ID in your browser’s session storage so your booking can be linked to the ad you clicked; it is deleted when you close the tab.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and turn off personalized ads at adssettings.google.com.
Our website does not respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals.
Security and retention
We protect your information with encrypted connections (HTTPS), access limited to authorized staff, and secure service providers. No method is 100% secure, but we take reasonable care.
We keep booking requests and service records for as long as California law requires, then delete them.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop emails. Call (818) 426-9293 or email info@911-appliancerepair.com. We may need to confirm it’s you.
This website is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page.
